Pricing Disclaimer

In these times, serious shipping disruptions, unprecedented demand for products, covid manufacturing restrictions and limitations on raw materials are all contributing to constant changes in our costs. Hence the need for flexibility in our pricing moving forward. All prices exclude GST and are subject to change. Prices can change due to market movements outside the control of Plymasters.

Edge Tapes

Our standard roll size is 50 /LM. If you wish to purchase less than 50 /LM, a $9.50 re-rolling fee applies. The minimum order of Edge Tape to purchase is 10 /LM and the Edge Tapes can only be purchased in increments of 10 /LM. E.g 10,20, 80, 110 /LM.

Handling & Storage

(All Joinery and other Plywood) Plywood is a natural timber product that can be affected by changes in ambient weather conditions, possibly causing previously flat sheets to bow. Precautions are taken to minimise this. However, once the plywood has left our warehouse we cannot guarantee sheets to remain flat unless fastened. This is particularly important where free standing kitchen/cabinet doors are concerned. All storage must be in a flat position with adequate face protection. Packaging of panels is charged at $17.00 per delivery for standard size sheets.

Exposure to Moisture and Natural Light

Direct or indirect light will have an effect on plywood and panel products. A change in colour and appearance over time is a natural characteristic, and not considered a defect. The effect of excessive moisture and damp or humid conditions can change the appearance or structure of plywood, and is not considered a defect.

Construction Plywood

Construction plywood sold by Plymasters is not necessarily “structurally rated” for use in bracing situations unless stated.

Exterior and Wet Conditions

Most plywoods, apart from Euro Gripdeck, do not carry guarantees for NZ exterior weather conditions. If Marine ply is used in exterior situations, and any ply used in a wet or moisture prone area, it is the purchasers responsibility to provide adequate surface and edge protection to ensure ultimate performance.

Rural Deliveries.

If your delivery address is considered ‘Rural’ by the Freight Provider, you agree to pay an additional $52.00 + gst for this delivery which will be charged to you by Plymasters. This may be extra and above the website quoted charge if this information was not available to you at time of placing the order.
An alternative option is to have the order delivered to the nearest freight depot and you can collect from this location at no additional charge.

Hand Unloads.

If your delivery requires a hand unload that takes longer than 15 minutes to unload with the driver, you agree to pay an additional $35.00 + gst for every 15 minutes after the initial free 15 minutes that it takes to hand unload the delivery. This will be charged to you by Plymasters.
An alternative option is to have the order delivered to the nearest freight depot and the customer collects from there at no additional charge.

Hi-ab Charges.

If you require a Hi-ab delivery, you agree to pay an additional $200.00 + gst per hour for this service.

Ideal Preference

To avoid any additional charges, it is recommended to have the order delivered to a commercial address which has a forklift onsite or have the order delivered to the nearest freight depot. All additional charges mentioned above are on top of the standard freight and handling charges stated at the shopping cart.

SSR Delivery (Special Service Request)

If you require an urgent delivery, Plymasters can book an SSR with the freight provider. An SSR will ensure your delivery is prioritized over other freight and delivered within the timeframe promised. If you require an SSR you agree to pay an additional $65.00 + gst, this will be charged to you by Plymasters. If for any reason your delivery cannot be delivered within the timeframe promised, Plymasters will credit you the value of the SSR.

All additional charges will be invoiced separately by Plymasters after the order is placed. We will get your permission from you for this to be charged to you before we send the goods.
