Made to be used as a substrate or have a paint finish, Flameshield Poplar Plywood is an innovative ply that has been modified to give it exceptional flame-retardant properties. It even retains it’s flame retardancy after sanding or machining due to the nature of the Ply being soaked in an intrinsic coating than a regular treatment.
A lightweight and easy to
machine panel lends itself to be perfect for Wall & Ceiling Linings,
Partitions, Doors and frames or Shopfitting. Ideal for the use of
commercial or public buildings that require stringent fire regs. including
Restaurants, Schools, Hotels, Offices, Hospitals and more.
This product has a
European Fire rating of B-s2-d0 without any coating, which is equivalent to an
NZ standard of Group 1S. Use of this product is subject to approval by a
designated Fire Engineer for each specific project.
