Plymasters Marine Grade Gaboon has excellent edge detail.  It has an attractive light pink, almost neutral colour, with a consistent grain. Lighter weight than other hardwoods, gaboon is very popular in joinery and linings. Lower grades of gaboon are also available.

BS1088 is the British Standard specification for marine plywood that applies to plywood produced with untreated tropical hardwood veneers that have set level of resistance to fungal attack. It is considered superior to regular marine grade plywood.

- Can be a specific or mixed tropical hardwood species

BS1088 Marine Grade Plywood
- AB grade
- Minimal/No gaps in the core
- 100% tropical hardwood (same species)
- WBP glue
- Must be stamped with BS1088

*Oversized 2440 x 1220 sheets are intentionally crafted for easy trimming, giving our customers the flexibility to customise them according to their clients' specific requirements. It allows for a perfect edge to be achieved when installing on-site linings.
